Validating radio buttons in perl

When I print the value of checkbox it prints blank instead of on, and thats why pearl code below always goes into else statement.

What should I do so that I can check if the checkbox is marked or not??????

Java Script validation is nice and quick because there's no round-trip to the server; however Perl validation is more secure and reliable, because it will always work even if the browser has Java Script disabled, or if the user has managed to "hack" the Java Script validation.

If you've followed our Writing a simple form mailer tutorial, you'll know how to write a simple Perl form handler that uses a static HTML page to display the form.

Checkbuttons are for when you want to select none, some, or all items.

For example, a shopping list might consist of Bread, Milk, Soda, and Eggs.

Reading and copying selected text to clipboard using Java Script In this tutorial, we'll see how to read the textual contents of a user selection, dynamically select some text on the page, and last but not least, copy whatever is selected to clipboard, all using just Java Script. Beginner's Guide to Java Script Promises Java Script Promises are a new addition to ECMAscript 6 that aims to provide a cleaner, more intuitive way to deal with the completion (or failure) of asynchronous tasks.

You might not want to get blank forms, or you may want to require certain fields to be filled out.

You might also want to write a quiz or questionnaire, and have your program take different actions depending on the answers.

All of these things require some more advanced processing of the form data, and that will usually involve using control structures in your Perl code.

Control structures include conditional statements, such as if/elsif/else blocks, as well as loops like ) is false.
